The Blue Wonder
PULSE RS1 won the Freeride Magazine test for Enduro bikes under € 2500!
We can’t wait to share with you the article that was released on 16th May!
The blue wonder! This is how the test riders of Freeride Magazine defined our bike.
We, in turn, are enjoying the miracle that it was exactly our bike to win the test, despite the big-name participants. Namely Canyon Srive Al 4.0 Race, Cube Stereo 160 HPA Race, Ghost Framr, Giant Reign 2 LTD-B, Propain Tyee Comp, Radon Swoop 170 7.0, Rose Uncle Jimbo 1, Votec Ve Comp, Yt Capra Al.

The blue wonder
Have you heard of Pulse? No? Neither have we. That’s why we were so eager to test the shipment from Bulgaria. The brand appeared only a year ago, and was created by a few enthusiasts – fans of mountain bikes.
“The frame is made by the same Taiwanese welders working with Trek и Commencal & Co.“ – Tsvetelin Ivanov told us. He explained the incredibly low price with the small margin and wage levels in Bulgaria. Here is the first surprise: the equipment! The RS1 has such high-end parts, and it costs only € 2500? We thought there was some misunderstanding.
Yes, indeed, this is the price! The guys from PULSE have done a great job. Everything is right: good suspension, comfortable cockpit, stable rear bearings, strong wheels, suitable tyres etc.
And here is the second surprise: the bicycle’s performance. It showed the best speed and security of all tested bikes! As a Mini-Downhiller, the RS1 shot down the steep trail and passed easily through the most difficult passages – like a piece of cake. For drops and jumps outside our comfort zone, the RS1 is our first choice again.
“Pulse are a class above the others!“, said one of our test riders. We are delighted to confirm it. It is always good when an outsider wins. Besides, despite the excellent downhill features, the Pulse RS1 remains a universal bicycle. Thanks to its neutral effect on kinematics, pedalling is very light, while the big saddle angle and non-shifting rearHH make it suitable for uphill climbing.
OK, with its 14.6 kg, it is not the lightest, but it will be too much to ask the Bulgarian guys for more magic.
To draw a conclusion: Well done for Bulgaria! Pulse won the downhill ranking with a huge lead. This bicycle has no disadvantages! It has an incredible high-class equipment! The perfect Enduro for descent lovers, freeride and bike park missions.
